Things I'm Thankful For

Oh, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving
I couldn't be happier on Thanksgiving
We had a big dinner and I love my
Mom and my Dad joins in the fun too.

I'm thankful for my family and how funny
my Daddy is
I'm thankful for having my cats that are
furry and fuzzy and cute
I'm also thankful for my little kitten and the
dog I'm going to get
I'm thankful that George Bush will be out of
the White House soon because I think he hurt a lot of people
and I'm so happy that Obama won instead of McCain.
I'm thankful for learning lots of good things and
I can't think of anything else right now because there
are so many things that it would be overwhelming
to write them all here.

I would like to end this poem now.  Thanks for
reading and have a good Thanksgiving every
year.

The Love in Life

Hey Mom, I love you!!
I appreciate your help when you have your ways
they might seem boring to me, but they are
important in our life.

But who care about problems??
You're just the best!!

Love Kaya for this beautiful poem.

The Lion and the Tree

Once upon a time, a lion laid beneath a tree in the desert.  He did not know what to do when the leaves fell off the tree.  He got too tired to walk that he had to eat and use flesh for energy.  Since the tree was not going to grow any more leaves, he put fur on the branches to make shade from the blazing sun.

One day, he had a bad dream.  Bad looking vampire bats came out of a cave and they almost chewed him right up!!!  That was his bad dream.  But he kept on making his tree have shade from the blazing sun.

He kept on doing the same thing over and over, but he started getting tired.  But he kept on working and working and working and working and working.  Then he started feeling good and then next day he started feeling better and better and better.  He really cheered himself up!

He started to have some fun.  He was playing with cubs.  That might sound wierd!  But he kept on doing it and doing it and doing it.  I don't know why this lion keeps on doing something when he is quite bored.  Until he met another lion that was a girl.  Then they married eachother and had little cubs.  And that was that.

Puffy Paint Picture

Orange  is  like  a  sunset or a flower
Lines might be better than a feather
But you my beautiful mother you are
better than better.

Zacross's Adventure

Once there was a warrior named Zacross.  He got captured by evil elves.  They put him in a dungeon.  He escaped the dungeon and the door to the dungeon led him to a small cavern.  A door in the cavern was locked.

He noticed a key on top of the shelf.  Then he noticed a monominion guarding it.  He beat the monominion down to the ground and got the key.  He went down to where the locked door was.  The key did not fit the lock.

He noticed a safe on the right wall.  The key fit in the safe's lock.  He opened the safe.  There was a red button in the safe.  He pushed the red button.  The red button opened the locked door. "Oh, what a relief!" he said.  He went home and told everyone about his adventure in the forest.
