The Lion and the Tree

Once upon a time, a lion laid beneath a tree in the desert.  He did not know what to do when the leaves fell off the tree.  He got too tired to walk that he had to eat and use flesh for energy.  Since the tree was not going to grow any more leaves, he put fur on the branches to make shade from the blazing sun.

One day, he had a bad dream.  Bad looking vampire bats came out of a cave and they almost chewed him right up!!!  That was his bad dream.  But he kept on making his tree have shade from the blazing sun.

He kept on doing the same thing over and over, but he started getting tired.  But he kept on working and working and working and working and working.  Then he started feeling good and then next day he started feeling better and better and better.  He really cheered himself up!

He started to have some fun.  He was playing with cubs.  That might sound wierd!  But he kept on doing it and doing it and doing it.  I don't know why this lion keeps on doing something when he is quite bored.  Until he met another lion that was a girl.  Then they married eachother and had little cubs.  And that was that.
THE END
